I made my way through Mt. Moon. It was a slightly annoying struggle but in the end it proved to be very beneficial. My next stop is Cerulean City. This city has a slight watery like feel to it. It feels like it lives in the shore of the ocean or a harbor of some sort, but it doesn't. The wateryness most likely comes from the Gym Leader, Misty. Her gym is a giant swimming pool and all of her Pokemon are water types, like Staryu and Starmie. This is bad news for me since my strongest Pokemon, Charmeleon, is a fire type and fire is weak against water. It took me a few attempts to defeat her.

While I was in this watery city I came across my rival, Nick. He is still a jerk. Luckily, I took him down in one try. He throws all his strongest out first. That was his downfall. After I struggled to defeat his two best Pokemon I was able to completely destroy his last two!

Other things I did while in Cerulean was meet up with the Pokemaniac Bill. He made the Pokemon storage system where I store all my Pokemon that I am not using. I also caught myself an Oddish, which I plan to kick serious butt with, and an Abra who I plan to do the same.
I would also like to add that my Magikarp is only a few levels away from evolving.
